Abstract

The monasterial manuscript under analysis preserved at the stock of the Institute of manuscripts is a valuable source of the monkhood of the Basylian order of the 18–19 centuries in general and the Liubar monastery in particular. The article contains the analysis of the manuscript from the position of source studies, the specifities of the monastic writing of annals on the microlevel of a monastery are defined, the peculiarities of everyday life of a monastic community, its “home history”, are revealed.
