Сюжети середників шкіряних оправ з майстерні Києво-Печерської лаври: спроба іконографічного вивчення

Abstract

An attempt of iconography study of centerpieces subjects from KyivPechersk Lavra book binder workshops leather book-covers was realized; the
main subjects characteristic to its book-covers were observed, and the prospects for further centerpieces subjects study in Ukraine were determined. As well as the circle of problems faced by the scholars in the study of decoration of manuscripts leather bindings were designated.
