The article is devoted to the description of typographers and their work in Ukrainian poetry of 17. – 18. ct. in Ukrainian and Church-Slavonic languages. Fixation of professional terminology, historical evidences about working of typographers and representatives of related professions – manufacturers of paper and bookbinders, showing of attitude to typographers and their work in Ukrainian society of that time there are retraced on the material of Ukrainian authors’ works.
