Abstract

In the submitted article the life of M. I. Yasynsky and his activities as a qualified specialist in the field of bibliography and library science are outlined, his contribution to the investigation of theoretical and practical issues of bibliography and library science is analized. The author studies a particular type of bibliography (individual bibliography) and subjects the achievements of the scientist in this area (his procedural descriptions and briefing aids) to a detailed analysis.
