The article covers the information about the role of medical editions in the activity of the Roman-Catholic friaries by example the Ostrog Jesuit Cоllege and presents historical and bibliological analysis of the literature on medicine in the Ostrog College Library. The publication examines also the proviniences in the medical editions of this friary’s library and characterizes them as valuable source for the history of medicine in Ukraine.
