Abstract

The article deals with the objectives, priority tasks and challenges of creation of the electronic catalogue of the Institute of Manuscripts of the VNLU. The history of introduction of informational technologies into the informational medium of the VNLU is outlined, the achievements of the Institute of Manuscripts on the way of development of a unified codycological description of codices and creation of the electronic informational resources on codices and documents of personal origin are summarized.
