The publication deals with the history of the library of the Vyshnevetsky monastery of the Order of Discalced Carmelites. Basing on the results of the historical-bibliological studies of the black-letter books from its collections and manuscript sources, the composition and the contents of the library stock, the ways of book acquisiton and book destinies after the closure of the monastery are outlined.
