Hand-written books heritage of Ukraine in national culture area: creation of traditional and electronic resources

Abstract

The complex of questions on a leading role of hand-written books heritage in structure of national and cultural values within the system of mastering of spiritual experience of the historical past is examined. A book is explored from two perspectives. First, it is an evaluation of a book as an artefact, as a system of the organization of the spiritual information and culture of different times by means of content and the form. Second, it is evaluated as historical and cultural factor, a method, and as tradition of handwritten transfer of this information from generation to generation throughout centuries. The structure of a manuscript and book heritage of Ukraine, as well as questions of creation of science-based and developed resources of hand-written books heritage in its traditional and in the electronic form, as multidimensional source of spiritual culture is
analyzed.
