The author prezents a review of archival sources on the history of the NAS of Ukraine in 1951–1955 years. Some complexes of documents from various archives of Ukraine are characterized. The composition and informative content of the archive body for the further reconstruction of scientific and organizational activities of NAS of Ukraine in this time are analyzed.
