Structure of pressology as a system of scientific knowledge

Abstract

Te goal of the work. The article aims to clarify the structure of pressological knowledge. Methodology of the article is based on the principles of scientificity, objectivity, multifactoriality, and systematicity. The general scientific (analysis, synthesis, structural-systemic) and special-historical methods were used to develop the structure of pressology as a system of scientific knowledge. The scientific novelty: for the first time, the thesis on the elaboration of general theoretical provisions on the structure of pressology as a separate specific historical discipline is substantiated. The structure of pressological knowledge, its characteristic features, and functional signs as a whole organism is defined by the position of the goal, tasks, object, subject, and methods of research of pressology. According to the logical, subject, functional, and sub-disciplinary aspects, the author proposed a classification scheme of the structure of the special historical discipline “Pressology”. The first-ever theoretical framework for pressological knowledge structure is presented. Conclusions. The reflected model of the structure of the discipline gives an idea of the nature of pressology, its subject, object, subject, and task. The fundamental importance is the definition of the theory of the structure of the pressology, which settles a central place in the pressology. It reveals the nature of the pressological source, its essence, the specifics of its reflection of reality, and its cognitive function, and is a set of systematized knowledge about the structure of pressological knowledge. The practice of pressology is closely related to pressological theory. The defined components of the structure of pressology reveal the prospects and needs of this discipline, its role, and its position in the system of the special historical disciplines. The classification scheme proposed by the author can serve as a guide for expanding and deepening scientific research.
